Phonics Operation
Draw an outline of a body or use the template below. Write the following body part words on small pieces of paper or print and cut out the words below: brain, chin, teeth, waist, chest, leg, arm, hand, neck, foot. All these words can be sounded out (we will be learning the ‘ar’ digraph on Monday so parents you will need to help your child with this one).
Your child will need a set of tweezers like a surgeon. First, they need to pick up a word card using the tweezers and read it (using the sound buttons to help) then place it on the correct part of the body.
Can you challenge yourself to read and label the body parts in 1-2 minutes?

Play this fun acting game to explore different emotions and feelings. Pick a card and act it out to show an emotion or feeling for an adult/sibling to identify (cards and instructions below).
Act of Worship

You will need: a piece of paper, a pencil, colouring pencils and a bird outline (use template below or draw your own). Inside each bird shape, you will need to draw how the school helps you to grow academically or personally e.g. in courage, perseverance, love etc.
