Morning Movement

Have a go at Joe Wick’s 5 or 8 minute children’s workouts (see The Body Coach channel on youtube) or choose one of the activities from the ‘Be Active’ area on Remote Learning page. 

Phonics

Today we will be learning the new digraph ‘ee’. Watch Miss Levy’s Phonics video on Teams. You can find it in the ‘Remote Learning’ channel under Files. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil whilst you are watching so you can join in. 

Literacy/PSHE

Fire fighters are very brave every day in their job. How are they brave? Have you ever been brave? Share your experiences with an adult and then draw a picture of a time you showed an act of bravery. Can you write a simple sentence to match? Use your Phonics knowledge to help you write. 

Maths

Recap- what have we been learning about this week? (weight) Can you remember any of our key words?

Pick 2 objects at a time and draw them on the scales (see template below). Which object is light? Which object is heavy? Where do they need to be on the scale?

Here are some ideas of objects you could draw: apple, sock, balloon, car, feather, pot of paint.
