Following our work on Australia last term, we applied our understanding of human and physical geography to find out about some of the other countries in Oceania. We carried out our own research then worked in pairs to present our findings.
We finished our Explorers topic by producing a double-page spread showcasing all of the different subjects we have covered.
This week we were tasked with conducting our own research to find out all about polar regions. We then had to present our findings as a double-page spread. Mrs Edwards was so impressed with what we produced!
This term we continue our learning about Explorers, turning our attention to Mountain and Polar regions. For homework, we have been given a number of different tasks to find out more about mountains. One of our options is to create a piece of artwork about a mountain of our choice. Another activity was to write a travel brochure for a mountainous region.
