The Plan of Action

‘Together we learn, believe and achieve’

Over the next few months, we will all be learning in a range of ways, range of different environments and at a range of different times and speeds. But, we can all stay in regular contact and still thoroughly enjoy our learning together. I can’t wait to hear and read all about your adventures!

I will update this page by 8pm every evening ready for you to read the next morning.

Look out for regular updates and links to alternative fun games and activities to do both indoors and out.

You have all been given a set of books to record all your achievements in. You should have a yellow writing book for all English style activities. A small SPaG book for Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar practice, a Maths book, a Sketch book and a green Diary. Remember to work from the back of your writing book when recording your Science, French, PSHE. History and Geography can go at the front as it is very closely linked with writing this term.

Mrs Billing will plan PSHE, French and Computing each week.

You will all be learning in a different ways in the coming weeks, so don’t panic! Just remember to:

  • Always try your best. Keep that positive attitude for learning while you are away from the classroom.
  • Be creative where you can, particularly if you are unable to access the daily work set. Invent your own.
  • Try to be independent in your learning as much as you can.
  • Be the teacher and teach your family members and carers all those wonderful things we have been exploring since September. You are the expert!
  • Always present your work so that you are proud of your achievements (use a pencil for writing and maths).
  • Always give yourself some house points at the end of your work ;-)
  • Take regular breaks, gets loads of fresh air when possible and drink lots of water!
  • Talk to the adults around you if you are feeling worried or anxious about anything!
  • Email Mrs Robinson or Mrs Billing if you have any question, suggestions or just need a chat!
  • Have fun!
