We have been learning about classification and the work of Carl Linnaeus. We went onto the field and used classification keys to identify the trees growing in our school environment.

We have been investigating the impact of exercise on our circulatory system. We planned and carried out an experiment where we measured our resting pulse rate and our pulse rate after exercise to see the difference.

We have started our learning about the Circulatory system today. We began by drawing around ourselves and labelling our outlines with all of the body parts we know so far. Can you think of any we have missed?

In Science this week we have been proving that light travels in straight lines. We set up a demonstration using card with holes in for the light to travel through. We saw that the light followed a straight path, right up to the last piece of card where we saw a perfect circle, matching the torch.
