Last term our topic was all about sorting and classifying animals according tot heir features. We looked at where animals lived and what made the animals particularly suited to live in the different habitats. We compared the animals on the basis of their features and created Top Trump cards to show the different methods used in classification. We created classification keys to help us - initially we made them using liquorice allsorts!
Our topic for this term is Electricity. We have started the term by trying to make circuits to power different devices and the classroom was filled with the noise of buzzers being switched on and off! We are also going to look at the different ways that electricity is used to power devices and hopefully make some scaled models.
