Class 4 went on quite the adventure last week when they went on their school trip to Bore Place. It was all support of their Science learning about Living Things in their Habitats. We began our day by embarking on a Woodland to Grassland Discovery Trail where we explored the gardens, meadows and woodlands, even coming across a snake on our travels! We then did a minibeast search and tried our hands at a bit of pond dipping too. This exploration not only allowed us to reflect on the nature of different food chains, but we also used identification keys to classify some more unfamiliar and unique creatures, including, a newt and water scorpion!
