This term, we will be learning all about the religion of Hinduism. We will focus on and look to answer the big question:
What do Hindu people believe about God?
We will begin by finding out about the religion, exploring some of the key traditions and scriptures (by the reading various different stories), before turning our attention to learning about pluralism and all the vast varying forms that their God takes.
Class 4, in Act of Worship have taken the time to create doves of peace containing prayers of hope and support to all of those we find in moments of darkest in Ukraine.
This term our focus has been on the Creation Story in the Bible, as we have been attempting to answer the big question of:
What do Christians Learn from the Creation Story?
Not only have we been reading the story from the Bible, but we also explored it via the different means of visualisation and poetry. Please click on the link below to view James Weldon Johnson's classical The Creation poem read by Wintley Phipps. We have also taken the time to explore and find out what we like most about God's creation and learnt about how Christians believe that humans are the gardeners and stewards of this creation, and discussed what we can do in order to help take care of it.
