At Chevening, we’re really lucky to have a very involved and supportive group of parents and a very active PTA.
The PTA’s main function is to fundraise. We organise various activities and events for both children and parents throughout the academic year and use the money raised to fund various requests the school may have.
In the last academic year, we successfully raised over £24,000.
Throughout the year we organise various events such as the Christmas Fair, Annual Ball, Easter Funday, Movie Nights, School Disco and the Summer Fair.
If you’d like to assist with any of these functions, or wish to contact us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
Over the past few years we have helped fund the purchase and maintenance of two new minibuses for the school, interactive smart boards for classrooms, replacement reading schemes, pantomime trips and the refurbishment of the school swimming pool.
At Chevening, all parents are automatically part of the PTA and we do encourage people to be as actively involved as they can.
Please do come to our PTA meetings that are held each term; being part of the PTA is a great way to meet other parents in the school, experience first-hand the wonderful school community and a rewarding way to volunteer.
