Ellie, from the West Kent Youth Working team has joined us over the past few weeks to think about mental well-being. Today we were thinking about what we can do to help when we are feeling overwhelmed by our emotions. We had to work as a team to create a pyramid from straws and then covered it with our strategies that we use to help ourselves.
We have been lucky to have Vernon from Kent Fire and Rescue come in to teach us basic CPR. He talked us through the process so that in an emergency, we are able to help a casualty until the emergency services arrive.
