The snow may have kept us at home but it hasn't stopped our learning! Some of the children who have been learning in school this term came up with some challenges using the snow. We had speed challenges such as making as many snowballs as you can in a minute and some to work on our balance and agility such as making snow mounds of different heights to balance on.
This week our home learners were asked to work on their balance. They were given a few ideas to get them going but were asked to be as creative as possible in how they chose to do this - they didn't disappoint!
We are taking part in the local Schools Games virtual pentathlon. We have begun our training in the five events: chest push, speed bounce, vertical jump, standing long jump and shuttle run. Wish us luck!
As part of our PE this term we have been thinking about trust and working together. We had a go at making pyramid balances before designing some of our own. We had to be respectful, honest, persevere and have faith in each other.
