Maths Week!
Maths Week has been a super opportunity to apply Maths to other subjects.
In English, the children wrote their own versions of AA Milne’s classic poem, Now We Are Six – learning to write numbers in words is a key skill.
Madame Holdak taught the children to count in French and Miss Chiavarini taught them in Italian.
In PE, the children had to form groups of numbers, add points together to find their score.
The highlight of the week and a perfect opportunity to appreciate how we use Maths every day was using Maths to cook in DT – the children had to measure, weigh, understand ration and use time to make delicious biscuits.
