Right Angles
We have been hunting for right angles! We made our own right angle testers and then looked to see where we could find right angles in the classroom. We used the iPads to take photos of the angles we found.
Bar Modelling
Today we have been using bar models to help us find fractions of an amount. By laying out our counters in a bar and then drawing it out in the same way, we can clearly see the number of items in each equal group.
Measuring Length
This term we are learning about about measurements in Maths. We have begun by looking at length in metres and centimetres before moving on to kilometres. We made our own measuring tools in order to measure different items in the classroom. We are now using our knowledge to solve word problems.
