History
One of our choices for homework this term was to make a Stone Age shelter. We have made some amazing models which are now decorating the classroom!
We have begun learning all about historians and how they find out about the past. We learnt about archaeologists and how they dig to find artefacts from the past. We then had a go at being archaeologists ourselves. Each table was given a tray with hidden artefacts belonging to an adult from the school. They had to carefully reveal the artefacts and then put the clues together to decide which adult the tray belonged to.
After learning about archaeologists, we had a look at some real artefacts from the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. We made predictions as to what we thought the items might be and why we thought this.
