Class 5 has taken the time to explore and practise various different separation processes, including, filtering, sieving and evaporation.  Their challenge was to separate various mixtures they were given into their different original components.  This was all in preparation for an investigation where the children had to try and work out all the different components of 'Minotaur's blood'.  They had to put their new skills and knowledge of these different separation processes to the test and work out what this strange (and slightly alarming looking) mixture consisted of.
