We began our new topic this week: ‘Amazing Africa’. The children explored world maps and an atlas and located the second-largest continent in our wonderful world. They shared all the facts that they already knew and found many more!

Another new thing this week has been an introduction of Reading Buddy time for 10 mins each day. This is a chance for the children to read aloud to their partner and also develop excellent listening skills. 

With so many exciting things to share from home, we have set up our own Class 2 Museum! If your child has something they would like to share with their friends, they will need to write a note explaining what it is and a bit about it. Items will stay on the museum table for the week.
