Y5 Residential to Carroty Wood
Courageous Carroty Crew!
What a spectacular time Class 5 have had this week! Not just finding out about physics and art at Sevenoaks School; or meeting Courtney Orange the Olympian; or indeed, our other special visitor… but flourishing amazingly at Carroty Wood!
Class 5 faced a multitude of challenges: emotional, mental and physical. They grew to meet them all! The ‘Leap of Faith’ was a particularly awesome High Ropes challenge, but there were so many other leaps too. Some to entertain, some to help forge bonds, some to push our abilities and resilience to new heights. We were able to find out more about each other – as well as ourselves. There were certainly many ‘ow’, ‘wow’ and ‘now’ moments!
The adults were all very proud of everything accomplished; and Class 5 carried the Chevening banner well. You can see a selection of photos from Carroty Wood here.
If you decided to spend some time at Carroty Wood, what would challenge you the most?
Why not be inspired by Class 5 and give it a try?
