This week in Literacy, we enjoyed reading Happy Birthday Maisy! The children had a wonderful time writing their own birthday cards to Maisy, guessing what presents she might have received, and chatting about all the delicious foods we associate with birthday celebrations. We even took a trip down memory lane as Mrs Archer shared stories about what birthday parties were like when she was young. During our VIP time, we had lots of fun celebrating birthdays together and playing party games. 

In our finger gym activities, we got creative by cutting out and decorating birthday cakes, designing colourful balloons for our class birthday display, and threading beads onto balloon shapes to match the correct numbers.
