Our first trip to forest school was on a wild, windy, wet, Wednesday! We had to be patient to allow the winds to subside so that we could be safe. Our first activity was to investigate our surroundings and try to get a feel for the variety of trees in our 'forest'. You can see the children collecting different leaves to investigate and then identify. We also played some Forest School games based on balance and cooperation. Back in the classroom, we used iPads to carry out some scientific research. (You can see that in our Science Gallery.)
