After designing our pieces, the time came to make our final pieces of art. First, we sketched our design on paper, then we used a thin, black pen to create outlines. In Madhubani art, they do this without the pencil sketch first! After that, we coloured them using felt tips. In traditional Madhubani art, paint would be used but we felt that felt tip would give us more control when applying colour.
