Class 5, have been on quite the galactic adventure recently, with so many Space-themed visits and visitors!  

Not only has this included visits by the UCL GeoBus and STEM Ambassadors (please see previous photo gallery images) but the children have also had the opportunity to immerse themselves in all things aerospace as they took on the challenge of learning about and then designing their own sustainable aircraft.  That was after they had put their recently acquired knowledge to the test, launching their creations and observing them take flight.

This provided a great opportunity for some cross-curricular learning, as the children managed to take on the roles of scientists, mathematicians, engineers and also put their creative skills to the test. 

What an incredible amalgamation of different disciplines, which led to some brilliant designs and engineering successes!
