Class 4 have had a brilliant day at Horton Kirby. On arrival we were transported to 1940, taking on the role of evacuees from London. We spent the morning in the classroom, learning just as children in the war would have done. Our lesson was even interrupted by an air raid warning! Later, after lunch, we headed into the village to learn about how the area was affected by the war. We had a brilliant day and are very grateful to Heather from the centre who led it.
