After learning about rationing last week we decided to put it into practice and do some wartime baking. We made an eggless cake - using half a pint of tea! Unfortunately, a mix-up with our flour meant that our cakes didn't rise and came out rather pancake-like! Nevertheless, we still enjoyed tasting them.
