We enjoyed sharing our Christmas news with each other, talking about the places we went, the people we saw and the gifts we received. We talked about the reasons why we enjoyed these things and focussed on extending our sentences as we spoke.
On Thursday, we discussed and wrote thank you letters and cards. As a class we wrote a thank you letter to Mrs Eady. We then wrote our own cards and letters to our families and friends.
Today, we have enjoyed celebrating the new year. We had a party together, counting down the seconds with Big Ben and dancing to Auld Lang Syne. We talked about our New Year’s resolutions and tried to write them independently.
