Other World Religions - Sikhi
Last year Class 3, had the wonderful experience of venturing off to expand their horizons and learn about the wider local community. As they had been learning about the Sikhi religion during their RE lessons, they went to visit the Rochester Gurdwara to consolidate their learning. They were warmly greeted by a very kind and knowledgeable Parminder Singh who shared and told them all about what it means to be a Sikh, including worship, before they were invited into the 'Langar' to share a refreshment. Thanks to the great kindness and inclusivity shown this is a trip that will not be forgotten in a while.
