This term, we are currently exploring the story 'The Bog Baby' by Jeanne Willis. After listening to the first few pages of the story, we discussed what a Bog Baby might look like and the children were encouraged to use their imagination with the help of our classroom 'imagination key' and create their own models of Bog Baby using playdough and other materials. Their designs were really creative and it was interesting to read their Bog Baby descriptions.
