All of the classes in Chevening have been working with a great book written by Oliver Jeffers.
Along with this being a lovely book, it is perfect for exploring the world we currently find ourselves in and learning how to understand and cope with the recent and current events associated with the pandemic.
We have been writing poetry about the new world we find ourselves in, the exciting aspects of returning to school as well as the frustrations we face.
We are currently writing persuasive arguments about how we should live in our world.
The children chose between the topics of:
'Staying safe during the pandemic'
'Black Lives Mater' or 'All Lives Matter'.
'Protecting Wildlife' and
'Reducing Pollution'
all of which are related to different pages in the book.
