In Computing this term we have been set a challenge by Mrs Edwards. Inspired by the BBC tv programme “Race Across the World” we are using Google Maps and other internet tools (including Ecosia - a search engine that uses the revenue it creates to plant trees) to work out how we can travel from school all the way to Singapore, without using planes!
Our first stop - starting from school - was Delphi in Greece. We had to choose a route, find out how to get there using public transport and then find some cultural sites to stop at on our way.
This term we are Network Engineers!
We started this week by learning about the physical side of the internet and also thinking about how we connect our different devices together to create networks.
