Trip to Bore Place
Class 2 had an exciting trip to Bore Place. In the morning, the children stopped off at the cow hospital then had a tour of the organic dairy farm to find out about where milk comes from before getting the opportunity to see the calves up close. The calves became particularly fond of the children, nuzzling up to them and enjoying munching on some tasty hay! In the afternoon, they became 'habitat explorers' and spent time exploring the woodland habitats, building dens, hunting for minibeasts and getting rather muddy!
Year 2 Infant Agility at Knole Academy
The children really enjoyed taking part in a range of activities that tested their co-ordination and balance skills. They displayed great Perseverance, Courage and Respect and came 3rd place out of 12 schools! Excellent effort, well done!
West End Workshop
The children took part in an exciting Aladdin inspired acting workshop where they told the story using their imagination and acting skills. Their facial expressions for the different characters were super!
Class 2 Nativity
Well done to all the children for their fantastic performances! They shone so brightly in the Nativity and showed great courage and confidence in their roles! Watch out West End theatres for these future super stars!
Trip to the Tower of London
Class 2 had a fantastic trip to the Tower of London! They stepped back in time to 1666 on Pudding Lane and explored what really happened during the Great Fire of London and what it would have been like to live at the Tower of London. During their visit, they enjoyed seeing the precious Crown Jewels and lots of different types of armour. They even got to meet a Beefeater who shared some interesting facts and was very friendly!
Remembrance Artwork
For Remembrance Day, Class 2 created some beautiful detailed poppy paintings to brighten up the KS1 area and remind us to make time to reflect.
