Term 1: Landscapes and Cityscapes
We will be learning all about the bright colours and bold brushstrokes used by the impressionists, and other artists, when painting landscapes and cityscapes. We will be begin by exploring the work of Claude Monet and then become familiar with Jean Metzinger. Throughout this term, we will become creative and adventurous artists ourselves and create pieces inspired by all we have seen.
