This week, our classroom has been buzzing with excitement as we’ve been swept away by the world of the giant! Through imaginative role play, the children loved stepping into character and creating their own unique versions of this towering figure. Our imaginations truly soared as we wondered what treasures might be waiting for us at the top of the beanstalk, with piles of glittering gold and lots of money proving to be the most popular idea.

We’ve also been busy growing our vocabulary, exploring powerful new words such as boomed, clambering, descend, ascend and ginormous. These words sparked some fantastic discussions and helped bring our storytelling vividly to life.

The magic continued when we discovered our very own beans! We planted them carefully and, before our eyes, beanstalks began to grow. We can’t wait to see just how high they’ll reach and where they might take us next...
